Bradford and Keighley Youth Parliament

The Bradford and Keighley Youth Parliament is elected to represent the needs and interests of young people across the District. YAP

The Youth Audit Panel (YAP) is the perfect group for young people interested in making a difference in their local community, being listened to, meeting new friends, learning new skills, having fun and having something positive to put on their CV's.

YAP is a young person led group where the group members go out and audit or inspect youth provisions for young people and then report to decision-makers on what is working & how the youth provisions could be improved.

The YAP group meets on Thursday evenings from 5 - 8pm at 1 City Road, Bradford, BD8 8ER.

Culture Fusion

Culture Fusion is a world class, state of the art youth facility, which is being created for the young people of Bradford.

Culture Fusion will be based on Thornton Road, close to the city centre. The current 6 storey building is currently being refurbished, with a modern 5 storey extension added to create space for lots of exciting projects and facilities for young people. These will include a gym, climbing wall, music and dance studio, space for young people’s events, workshops and youth clubs, study support and IT facilities, information and advice, business and job search support, health services, volunteering, hostel accommodation and much, much more.

Young people have been involved in all stages of the development of Culture Fusion, particularly through the Steering Group. The Steering Group has appointed architects and project managers and continues to ensure that young people throughout the district are involved in and have up to date information about Culture Fusion, meet influential people and sit in on meetings to make sure they are at the heart of its development.

The group meets on a Wednesday evening 5-7pm at City Hall Bradford.
