ISG has a Group Support Function & three Operational Departments (Manufacturing - based in Frizinghall, Festival Lights - Venlo Industrial Estate, and Mailing & Packing - workshop unit at the Towngate Business Centre).
The ISG environment reflects methods and practices employed in commercial enterprises and provides valuable training and work experience for its contracted employees, enabling them to consider career development opportunities.
Jobcentre Plus provides funding through the WORKSTEP Supported Employment Programme, with additional funding from Bradford Council. However, over 90% of ISG's income is generated from sales to customers. The respective businesses must compete for work without further subsidy and operate in a commercial context. This differentiates ISG from establishments that provide therapeutic work and day-care for people with disabilities.
Group Support Functions
Based at Paddock, they provide HR and Welfare support services and Financial and Administrative assistance to the operating departments.
The Supported Employment Officer and Welfare Officer provide an HR service and welfare support to department managers and employees with disabilities. They are also responsible for the management of the WORKSTEP Supported Employment Programme.
Manufacturing Department
The Manufacturing Department fabricates PVC-u windows and assembles door sets for its principal customer, the Bradford Community Housing Trust. Additional orders are placed by Bradford Council Departments. It also offers a survey and installation service.
Festival Lights Department
The Festival Lights Department designs, manufactures, erects, maintains and stores the features used in street displays for the Eid, Vaisakhi, Deepawali and Christmas festival celebrations, within the Bradford District and for other local authorities. It also provides features for organisations in the leisure sector.

Mail and Packing Department
The Mailing and Packing department is audited to Marks & Spencer's Food Handling standards and offers Bespoke Mailing & Packing services.
The department prides itself on its quality of service and has a well established customer base of local SME Businesses, large blue chip organisation and public bodies.
