BSF Phase 3
Phase 3 of the BSF programme is now at the planning stage and this will focus on the refurbishment, remodelling and redevelopment of the remaining secondary school estate. Schools built within the last 10 years are eligible for ICT investment. Capital and ICT investment schools include: Belle Vue Boys’, Belle Vue Girls’, Bingley Grammer, Carlton Bolling College, Ilkley Grammer, Laisterdyke, Nabwood, Oakbank, Queensbury, St Bede’s, St Joseph, The Holy Family, Communication & Interaction (C&I) and Social Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) schools. Over 80 pupils from Phase 3 schools took part in a special workshop in London to come up with creative ideas for their new school buildings. On 6th July, pupils attended an event in Bradford to present their top 3 design features. Each student was awarded a certificate and a copy of their pupil brief. Bradford Council have now passed these briefs onto the architects for inclusion in the new school designs.
