Consultation
Since the beginning of the project, all interest groups have been widely consulted. In particular, students at the schools involved have taken part in design workshops and members of staff have worked closely with the architects to produce innovative but practical designs. Schools have been heavily involved in the project and the views of students, staff, parents and governors have been taken into account as part of the development of proposals. Visits were made to innovative projects in the UK to help inspire pupils, and children have provided expert opinions on what they have seen.
