Closure of Bradford Student Finance Office in Britannia House.
All council Student Finance Departments in the UK have transferred their functions to Student Finance England (SFE) in Darlington.
Our Student Finance Department in Britannia House, Bradford, handed over to SFE from the week commencing 7 February 2011. It is no longer possible to contact the Student Finance Department at Bradford Council.
All queries will need to be made directly to SFE on 0845 300 50 90, or via www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance.

Important note
SFE are aware that some students have been targeted by “phishing” emails. They often find that there is an increase in the frequency of these emails just before instalment dates. The emails look like they have come from the Student Loans Company or Student Finance England and ask students to click on a link to confirm their security and banking details in order to receive payments.
The Student Loans Company or Student Finance England will never send emails to customers asking them to confirm their security and banking details. Students should not respond to these emails and should forward them to phishing@slc.co.uk so that we can trace the emails and work on closing the websites down as quickly as possible.
