Partnerships and Forums

The BDP Executive Board is supported by a range of core and non core partnerships. They are:
The Partnerships are responsible for the delivery of specific goals and priorities within our Community Strategy. They are ultimately accountable to the BDP Board on performance and delivery.
The Partnerships will ensure the relevant contribution to the development and delivery of the SCS is made by:
- Contributing to the evidence base through the observatory and other forms of data gathering
- Developing draft submissions for SCS priorities within sphere of operation
- Taking responsibility for overseeing the performance management of the partnership delivery plans including taking remedial action in areas of underperformance and where this is not possible to refer such matters to the LSP Executive Board
- Overseeing the implementation of an SCS delivery plan within sphere of operation
- Ensuring that delivery plans support the key principles outlined in the SCS and outcomes overseen by other partnerships
- Consulting and involving stakeholders in the development and delivery of SCS priorities
- Participating positively in cross partnership events and activities
- To hold individual partners to account for their contribution to the delivery of SCS outcomes
- Pursuing and maximising opportunities to join up delivery with partners and other partnerships
- Developing and operating by clear terms of reference and agree a memorandum of understanding with the BDP Board Executive Board
- Contributing to other projects as directed by the BDP Executive Board.

The Strategic Delivery Partnerships and the Board are supported by cross cutting partnerships that work with them to ensure that a range of issues are reflected in all aspects of the LSPs work. They include the following:
