Community Strategy
In Bradford, we agreed our long term ambitions in 2000 and set these out in the 2020 Vision as a route map towards a transformed district. Community Budget - Families First
Bradford was selected in the Government's October 2010 Spending Review as one of 16 first-wave Community Budget areas nationally, to develop innovative approaches in partnership to addressing the needs of families with multiple problems.
Our Community Budget Programme - which we have called Families First - is now being taken forward with funding from the Government's Troubled Families Team. A new Families First Manager has been appointed to develop a multi-agency approach which will deliver results under a new Payment by Results model. Every Baby Matters
The Every Baby Matters initiative is a multi agency project, which aims to help give babies a better start in life. The project also coordinates how different partners in the Bradford District are working together to support mums-to-be, new mothers and their families.
