A Keighley advice and support centre for young people is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
Since the Keighley Connexions opened in May 2004, staff have dealt with more than 20,000 inquiries from young people and their parents.
Run by Bradford Council, the centre was initially set up in partnership with Careers Bradford.
Various agencies use the base in Low Street, including Bradford and Airedale PCT, Bradford Youth Offending Team, The Prince's Trust, Bradford Youth Development Partnership and Off the Record counselling service.
Council Leader Kris Hopkins said: "The Connexions centre is an invaluable service for young people throughout the Keighley area and staff from a range of agencies are on hand to give visitors information about services and support available.
"This can include details about a variety of prospects, such as training opportunities, benefits, educational and vocational courses.
"There are a lot of options available out there for young people but deciding which route to take it can be daunting for them. Staff in the centre are very supportive and help to give young people the guidance they need to make the right choices.
"This is the key aspect of the district's b someone campaign - helping children and young people to succeed, improve their skills and fulfil their potential."
Onkar Singh, Professional Youth Worker based in Keighley who helps run the centre, said: "We aim to give the young people of Keighley and the surrounding areas a service which delivers high standards of advice and guidance and which enables them to make positive decisions about their lives."
