Parents and children step out for Easter egg hunt

Parents in Queensbury have taken part in an Easter egg hunt.
Organised by the Extended Schools Cluster, the event was held at Ogden Water for the Queensbury Family Walking Club.
The event supported Bradford Council's b someone campaign which has dedicated 2009 as a year of education. The aim is to encourage adults to take a more active role in children and young people's educational development to help them fulfil their potential.
Ginny Mansouri, the Extended Schools Cluster Manager in Queensbury said the walks are for families from Shibden Head, Russell Hall and Foxhill Primary schools .
Coun Michael Kelly, the Council's Executive Member for Services to Children and Young People, said: "This was a wonderful way to bring families together to help support children's learning."
Ginny Mansouri said: "The walks are also proving to be popular and we have been organising them for just over a year now.
"This will be the second Easter Egg Hunt and the weather was better than last year when 153 adults and children braved the torrential rain!"
