What is Council Tax ?
Who pays it?
People who live in the Bradford district who are registered as the person or people who are responsible for paying the Council Tax for that property.
When is it paid?
Council Tax bills are sent out annually, and people can chose to pay them yearly in one lump sum or in 10 or 12 instalments over the year.
How much is the charge?
There are 8 different amounts of Council Tax. These amounts are called 'Council Tax Bands'. To work out which 'band' a property is in, please go to Bands and amounts
Can I get help with the cost?
Some people can get help with their Council Tax bill depending on their personal circumstances.
