Paying by Post Office Giro

Payment can be made at any Post Office by completing a Transcash voucher (available at the Post Office). A standard Transcash fee will be payable to the Post Office. When you fill out the form, make sure that you quote the Account/Payment Reference Number of your bill.

The Council's Girobank Account Number is 6058914.

As well as costing you extra money, you should be aware that there is often a delay of several days between you paying the Post Office and the money being credited to the Council's account. Please take this into consideration when deciding when to make payment.

Do you have a bank or building society account? Have you thought about switching to Direct Debit? See Paying by Direct Debit for further details and the Direct Debit Guarantee.
