What is Second Adult Rebate?
Second Adult Rebate is help with your Council Tax bill if you share your home with one or more adults who are not your partner and have a low income.
Who qualifies?
Second Adult Rebate is worked out based on the person / people who share/s your home. Are they:
- aged 18 or over?
- not your partner?
- not paying you rent?
- not responsible for paying Council Tax themselves?
If you can answer yes to all, then you may qualify for Second Adult Rebate
Your income and savings will not have an effect on Second Adult Rebate.
How do I claim?
To claim Second Adult Rebate you will need to fill in the benefit form below (you only need to fill in parts 1, 3 and 17 onwards)
