Council Tax Reduction can help you pay your council tax bill if you are on a low income or claiming other benefits.

Housing Benefit can help you pay your rent if you are on a low income or claiming other benefits.

Maximum Alternative Assistance

Maximum Alternative Assistance can help to pay your council tax bill when other people who live with you are on a low income or claim benefits.

If you apply for benefits before you move into a property you can email us at benefits@bradford.gov.uk to tell us when you have actually moved in.

Discretionary Housing Payments

Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP) may be made where other benefits in payment do not cover your rent. In some cases we can make payments for rent deposits or advance rental payments, removal costs or to clear rent arrears.

The Blue Badge Scheme is a national scheme that helps you to park closer to your destination.

Travel

Concessionary Travel gives free off-peak local bus travel to help people with certain disabilities and people who are of State Pensionable Age.
