This is a great way to learn new skills, meet other people and make a difference to the lives of thousands of people. There's a wide variety of volunteer roles available, from sports coaching to dealing with media enquiries.

Volunteering can provide an opportunity to enhance your CV, help you to explore a different career path or do something completely different.

There are many regular volunteering opportunities and placements where you could take on a specific role within an organisation on a regular basis.
