World Mile Festival
The World Mile Festival runs from 24th – 27th September as an exciting addition to Bradford Music Week, and embraces the full diversity of the district’s communities with a programme of music, song and dance.
The festival is located on the World Mile.
The World Mile runs from Ivegate in the city centre up to the Carlisle Road junction and links the Asian boutiques on Whetley Hill to the city centre, and includes the area around the Oastler market. The World Mile is part of Bradford’s regeneration plans and aims to develop as a place to shop, eat, do business and enjoy yourself - with a strong international or ‘World’ feel.
