HealthWatch Commissioning - Consultation
What is the consultation about?
Subject to the passing of the current Health and Social Care bill (currently before the House of Lords) Bradford MDC will be commissioning a new consumer organisation to represent users and the public’s views about health and social care matters.
- HealthWatch will be the independent consumer champion of health and social care locally
- HealthWatch will provide the strong, independent, local, consumer voice on views and experiences to help bring about better health and social care outcomes;
- HealthWatch will monitor local health and care services and make recommendations to commissioners and providers about things that could or should be improved;
Before we start the formal commissioning process, we would like to gather views on what “HealthWatch Bradford” should look like
