  • Promote a range of recreational activities, including play and voluntary learning provision, for children and young people
  • Support vulnerable groups of children and young people (including looked after children, children and young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and specific black and ethnic minority groups) to enjoy and achieve
  • Increase attainment, particularly at Key Stages 2 and 4
  • Increase attendance for those children and young people at school and increase provision for those who do not attend school

  • Reduce offending and re-offending rates

  • Children and young people who are looked after are helped to achieve economic well-being
