Bradford District Partnership Structure
We have partnership governance arrangements in place to ensure clear accountability, effective decision‑making and delivery of shared priorities for Bradford’s residents.
Bradford and Airedale Wellbeing Board
The Wellbeing Board is the senior strategic partnership in the district. It has two unique functions:
- The Board has a statutory responsibility under the Health and Social Care Act 2012 and is set up as a formal committee of Bradford Council
- The board leads the family of linked strategic partnerships through which we collectively deliver the outcomes of the Bradford District Plan.
Further details can be found on the Bradford and Airedale Wellbeing Board web page.
Supporting Partnerships
Thematic partnerships
The Wellbeing board is supported by four thematic partnerships:
- The Growth and Skills Partnership
- Children, Young People and Families Executive
- Safer and Stronger Partnerships
- Health and Care Partnership
The Thematic Partnerships take direction from and are responsible to the Wellbeing Board for delivering the District Plan outcomes and other strategic priorities. They are expected to report their progress against these outcomes to the Wellbeing Board on an annual basis.
Cross Cutting Partnerships
The Wellbeing Board is committed to its two cross cutting missions of tackling poverty and reducing inequality. Therefore, hears reports from related partnerships and groups to offer leadership and advice on these areas:
- Systems Equality Group
- Poverty Co-Ord Group
