When two fanatics set off on the London to Brighton veteran car rally, they take their girlfriends with them dressed in all their perfect Edwardian costumes. They arrive in Brighton after a bit of friendly racing and celebrate their successful journey. As spirits rise the men disagree over whose car is best and bet that each can get back to London faster than the other. The loser surrenders their car. A great Biritsh film with a memorable score from Larry Adler and great performances. A beautiful family film that shares the passion for stunning cars and great story as well.
