The Art Cars by BMW
Photographic exhibition
The initial idea for having cars designed by artists originated with the French auctioneer and racing driver Herve Poulain. Since 1975 outstanding artists from around the world have designed BMWs of their time. Famous artists contributing to the collection include Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Bradford's own David Hockney.
