Potential Conservation Areas Overview

Residents, Councillors and organisations have contacted the Conservation Team and have suggested that, in their opinion, new conservation areas should be designated in certain localities. The Conservation Team has now assessed these suggested areas in order to determine whether the Conservation Team would recommend all or any of them for conservation area designation to the Area Planning Panels and Area Committees.

The areas which have been considered for potential conservation area designation are listed in the table below. A period of public consultation has been undertaken in each area; the outcome for each area will be reported to Area Planning Panels and Area Committees before the end of March 2007. By clicking on the name of any of these areas, you will be taken to a page where the report and supporting documentation can be viewed or downloaded.
