Statement of Community Involvement
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) is the Council’s statement on how the local community, stakeholders and other interested parties will be consulted on:
- The portfolio of documents that make up the Local Development Framework.
- All planning applications
The Council has now received an Inspector’s Report; the recommendations within this Report are binding upon the Council. A copy of the Inspector’s Report and accompanying letter from the Planning Inspectorate can be viewed using the links below.
The SCI now has to be approved by Executive and then Full Council before it can be formally adopted as Council Policy. A Report is scheduled to go to the Council’s Executive on the 22nd April 2008.
