Planning Obligations SPD
The Regulatory and Appeals Committee resolved on 3 October 2007 to approve for adoption the Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). The SPD sets out how the Council will seek and deliver community benefits through the use of these legal agreements which are negotiated when a planning application is submitted to the Council.
The SPD supports Policy UR6 of the Replacement UDP, as well as several other policies such as affordable housing, open space and recreation, and public art.
The Supporting Documents are the Statement of Consultation outlining the public consultation undertaken for the draft SPD, the representations received and the Council's response; and also the Statement of Sustainability Appraisal. The Adoption Statement sets out where the document can be viewed.
