Children's Social Care
Our aim is to:
- support, care for and protect vulnerable children in Bradford District.
- improve outcomes for vulnerable children and young people ensuring they are safe and healthy, able to achieve their potential, enjoy and contribute to their local community.
- be child centred and set out to engage with children, their parents and carers in the planning and delivery of services; supporting parents to care for their children whenever it is safe to do so.
- work closely with partner agencies to improve the life changes of children through improving communication and information sharing, developing common frameworks to identify and understand needs - working to deliver the shared objectives of the District's Children and Young People Plan.
- provide services which deliver value for money and improve outcomes for children and young people, whether provided directly by the Council or commissioned through other organisations.
