Fresh Jive brings in the biggest names from across the globe in both music and dance and has flown in dance crews representing the USA, Holland, France, Finland, Italy, Korea and Germany and not to mention the countless breakdancers representing nearly every city across the UK! Fresh Jive is the real Hip Hop deal - not a buy in. It represents everyone from the streets to the students…beware of cheap imitations!

Waxworks is a state of the art studio for aspiring DJs, Mc’s and Music Producers – equipped with the latest cutting edge technologies thanks to sponsorships from several leading equipment manufacturers. Waxworks deals with hundreds of young people per year, providing a full range of services from vocal recordings to professional design services, Waxworks is in an enviable position in its ability to offer access not only to professional equipment, but expertise and know-how in the form Waxworks’ handpicked team of working professionals.

The Hop - Saturday 31st May - 24 bands performing between the Love Apple and Delius pub. Features some really fantastic bands including Sons & Daughters and Slow Club. See The Hop Page for line ups.

ASH bandAsh - 31st May - for 1 night, Ash descends on Bradford. They will be supported by Infadels, In Case of Fire, White Light Parade and Minus Jack.

Lightspeed ChampionLightspeed Champion - Thursday 29th May - BD1 Live in association with Mono and Granadaland. promises to be a truly unmissable night. Supported by Local bands Spodni Pradlo and others to be announced.

100 Drummers - Saturday 31st May - 2.30pm Centenary Square participatory event where anyone can join in. All you need is drum sticks and a drum or two. This can be a bucket, african drums, Dhol drums, drum kit or a marching drum. Basically anything you want.

Thursday 29th May,1.00pm - 1.45pm Impressions Gallery: Whiskas from Forward Russia presents: 'Shaping your own future' stories of promoting, releasing records and touring the world outside the mainstream music industry.

Whiskas from Forward Russia, and the man who founded Dance To The Radio - home of The Pigeon Detectives, talks about how and why he started working with so many other bands, and what helped him guide his own band through 2 albums while working with the music industry while trying to avoid the numerous pitfalls.

Friday 30th May, 1.00pm - 1.45pm, Impressions Gallery:

Tic, a young a+r rep from XL records and owner of Salvia records presents Keeping it Local.' Talks about how it is important to work the local scene. He will talk about how a town's music scene can grow and how it can get a reputation nationally.

Tic worked as a part time scout for XL whilst studying for his linguistics degree in London. This is when he discovered Adele and Jack Penate

Bradford College Music Students Showcase 12.00 - 12.30 & 2.00pm - 2.30pm Wednesday 28th May, Thursday 29th May & Friday 30th May.

The best of Bradford College's talented singer songwriters and bands. Features - Minus Intention - 4 piece indie band, Pathway - acoustic folk/rock duo, Jim Adsetts - Acoustic guitar/vocal, Laura & Chrisian - Acoustic folk/rock duo, Birdy - Acoustic Guitar/vocal, Damian Curran.

The mono Photography Display will feature exclusive photography from the mono Fanzine archive. Fifty images in total will be displayed including black and white and colour - made up from live concert photography, features, people, places and artwork featured in the fanzine over the past two years.
